An exploration into the future of memorialisation using emerging technologies
3D SCANNING AND PRINTING
3D scanning is a process of analysing an object in real life to allow the user to collect all the data needed to recreate its shape and appearance digitally.
The scan can then be uploaded to the relevant software to be edited, from which it can be 3D printed, allowing us to create a physical object from digital information.
Scale, colour and other elements can be changed to create the desired result.

ADOBE AERO
Adobe Aero is a software created by Adobe which helps you design immersive experiences by overlaying digital content over a live view on your phone’s camera.
It allows us to create augmented reality and immersive content and is available to everyone.
After uploading a photo from your phone, it can be embedded into your current environment, similar to an Instagram filter.
It can also be used on the desktop app where it can be used to create an augmented reality by adding different elements.
