Holography is a photographic technique which uses light scattered from an object which gives the impression of a three-dimensional object.
Hologram technology began being created in 1962 but has since developed drastically and continues to do so with advancing knowledge and equipment.
HOLOGRAPHY IN SOCIETY
In 2019, Channel 4 announced a new television show which will allow terminally ill people to deliver messaged to their loved ones after they have died.
These messages will be created using holographic technology and will be the individuals themselves appearing in holographic form, This allows members of the public to see how this advanced technology works and what its capabilities are.

The concept of using hologram technology as a form of memorialisation was displayed in 2020 when Kanye West gifted his wife, Kim Kardashian, a hologram of her deceased father, Rob Kardashian for her 40th birthday. The video shows Robert Kardashian dancing, laughing and speaking from a script which had been written in advance.
This is not the only instance of celebrities being brought back to life using holography, Michael Jackson and Tupac are only some that have been recreated with this technique for live shows in recent years.
